Znalazłem wreszcie chwilkę czasu, żeby spersonalizować moje iGoogle. Czym jest iGoogle? (czy ktoś jeszcze nie wie?)Załóżmy, że faktycznie ktoś jeszcze nie wie:
iGoogle – strona internetowa umożliwiająca użytkownikowi szybki dostęp do najważniejszych dla niego informacji. Każdy korzystający z usługi ma do dyspozycji własną stronę (dostępną tylko dla niego), na której może umieszczać różne elementy, takie jak zegar, aktualną pogodę, nagłówki wiadomości z interesujących go kanałów RSS i Atom, listę rzeczy do zrobienia, ale także najpopularniejsze filmy z Google Video, gry we flashu, miniczat lub wbudowany komunikator internetowy. Elementy mogą być organizowane w wielu kartach.
Wszystkie, pogrupowane w kategorie oraz możliwe do przeszukiwania, elementy są dostępne w katalogu treści. Dostępne jest również do wybrania 7 różnych kolorystycznych motywów strony.
Usługa została uruchomiona 20 maja 2005[2] w języku angielskim. Aktualnie dostępna jest również w języku polskim. Usługa znana była jako spersonalizowana strona domowa Google do 30 kwietnia, kiedy na oficjalnym blogu Google ogłoszono zmianę nazwy serwisu. (wiki)
Tak sobie myślę.. co ja mam tutaj jeszcze pisać? Napiszę, że wspaniałe to narzędzie, jak i samo google 🙂 Teraz moja strona startowa wygląda tak:
do moich ulubionych dodatków (których jest cała masa, i które za darmo w jednej chwili można dodać do swojego iGoogle) należą:
- Gmail (więcej) – bo trzeba wiedzieć co słychać w skrzynce pocztowej 😉
- Daily Bible Verse (więcej) – bo nawet gdy zapomnę, Bóg i tak ma dużo do powiedzenia codziennie.
- Pogoda (więcej) – serio muszę pisać czemu? Pokazuje pogodę w Poznaniu, więc jest super! 🙂
- lista zadań do wykonania (więcej) – przynajmniej widzę, czy się lenię!
- random wikipedia article (więcej) – a co! trzeba się dokształcać :]
…do tego masa newsletter’ów, między innymi z wp.pl, dobreprpogramy.pl, joemonster.pl, wykop.pl, gazeta.pl, tvp.pl, masa słowników, translatorów, kalkulatorów, wskaźników, przeliczników… tak więc wiecie… wszystko w jednym miejscu i jestem pewien, że czas, który poświęciłem na uporządkowanie tych danych, zwróci sie już niebawem. Zapraszam do iGoogle’a!
